If you can no longer make Tor Divide, we do not want you to lose your place unnecessarily. Our deferral and transfer options are there to give riders some flexibility, while helping us cover the admin and event costs already committed.

More than 30 days before the event

Deferral

This covers administration and non-recoverable costs, and secures your place in the same Tor Divide event the following year, subject to the conditions below. The deferral fee is payable by the requesting rider.
Fee: £15

Transfer

You can transfer your entry to another rider you know. We will need the replacing rider to sign up via the Tor Divide website, accept the event terms and conditions, and confirmation from both of you by email before the transfer is confirmed. The transfer fee is payable by the requesting rider.
Fee: £10

30 to 15 days before the event

Late deferral

A higher fee applies closer to the event, as more event costs are already committed and the admin involved increases. Your place will be deferred to the same Tor Divide event the following year, subject to the conditions below. The deferral fee is payable by the requesting rider.
Fee: £30

Late transfer

Late transfers may still be possible up to the published cut-off date. As above, both riders must email together, and the replacement rider must sign up via the website and accept the event terms. The transfer fee is payable by the requesting rider.
Fee: £20

Fewer than 15 days before the event

Rider lists, logistics, tracking, communications and admin are already in motion. Because of this, we cannot process any deferrals or transfers within 15 days of the event start.

Deferral conditions

A deferral:

• guarantees your place in the next edition of the Tor Divide event

• is non-refundable

• is valid only for the next edition of the event

• is non-transferable

• keeps the value of your original booking with us

• may be moved to another Tor Divide event format, where applicable

• must be completed and paid before the published deadline

• must be claimed no later than 60 days before the edition the rider is transferring to

Payment:

Deferral and transfer fees are payable by the requesting rider. Payment instructions will be provided by email upon request.
