Life happens. Family commitments, work, illness, injury, or unexpected changes can sometimes mean plans need to be put on hold. If you can no longer make it to Tor Divide, we don’t want you to lose your place unnecessarily.

Our deferral policy is designed to give riders a little more flexibility, while also helping us cover the administration, planning, and event costs that are committed well in advance.

When you enter Tor Divide, your place includes access to the event routes, rider manual, event goodies and food on the day, and generous discounts from our partners available from the moment you sign up. Many of these costs are agreed and fixed long before the event takes place. Because of this, and the logistics involved in organising Tor Divide, we’re unable to offer cancellations or refunds.

However, we can offer deferrals to the following year, so when the timing is right, you still have the chance to join us on the route.

More than 6 weeks before the event

Deferral

This covers administration and non-recoverable costs, and secures your place in the Tor Divide event the following year, subject to the conditions below. The deferral fee is payable by the requesting rider.

Less than 6 weeks before the event

Late deferral

A higher fee applies closer to the event, as more event costs are already committed and the admin involved increases. At this point it also becomes very difficult for us to fill your place at the event. Your place will be deferred to the Tor Divide event the following year, subject to the conditions below. The deferral fee is payable by the requesting rider.
Fee: £55

Less than 2 weeks before the event

Rider lists, logistics, tracking, communications and admin are already in motion. Because of this, we cannot process any deferrals or transfers within 15 days of the event start.

Deferral conditions

A deferral:

• is non-refundable

• is valid only for the next edition of the Tor Divide event

• is non-transferable

• keeps the value of your original booking with us

• may be moved to another Tor Divide event format (e.g. Overnighter) where applicable

• must be completed and paid before the published deadline

• must be claimed no later than 60 days before the edition the rider is transferring to

Deferral and transfer fees are payable by the requesting rider. Payment instructions will be provided by email upon request.
