During sign-up, you can choose to opt out of night-time tracking between 10pm and 5am, should you prefer your location to be hidden from the public live-tracking website during those hours.

Self-supported challenge: solo or pair
Tor Divide is a self-supported personal challenge, but it is not just for racers! Some riders come to test themselves, others come for the adventure, the trails and the weekend atmosphere. To be listed as an official finisher, complete your chosen route self-supported within 32 hours. Otherwise, choose your route, ride your pace and make the weekend your own.
While Tor Divide is a self-supported bikepacking challenge at heart, participants are encouraged to meet up, socialise and help each other before, during and after the event. There will be drinks and food waiting for you at the finish on Sunday, where we look forward to hearing stories from the ride!

The Millstone
150km | 3,000m+ | Some MTB technical sections
Best for: riders who want a shorter but still proper Peak District challenge.
Peak Gravel
200km | 4,000m+ | Little or no hike-a-bike
Best for: gravel riders who want distance, scenery and less technical terrain.
The Divide
250km | 5,250m+ | Multiple MTB technical sections
Best for: experienced riders looking for the full challenge.

Venue details
The start and finish of the routes will be at the Event HQ, the Bamford with Thornhill Recreation Ground.
Nested in the Hope Valley, Bamford is the ideal place to explore the Peak District. It is a short ride to the lovely peak villages of Hathersage, Hope and Castleton.
The event venue, including parking and camping, will open in the late afternoon on the Friday and close on Sunday at 5pm.
Toilets, showers and changing rooms will be available to participants. There is no power on site, so please bring any battery packs or chargers you may need. Campervans are allowed on site. Motorhomes are not permitted due to access restrictions and limited parking space.
Tor Divide can be a great family weekend, so please do bring your partner, kids or friends along. Nothing beats having a familiar face cheering you on at the finish! There is a playground on site -and possibly a pump track for 2027! - plus plenty of family-friendly trails in the area.
Space is limited, however, so please be considerate and bring the tent you need rather than a small palace.
